from now on...

"anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. the fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. the trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."
- gordon b. hinckley

WOW, I miss this incredible man..what a profound statement. I dreamt last night that we decided to "go camping" for the rest of our lives..such a simple life..dreams of a simpler life I suppose. What a chaotic world we live in but it's so important to remember that our Heavenly Father's plan is NOT chaotic..it's simple..we're the ones that make it complicated. So we have to remember to enjoy the ride..I'm so happy that we chose to be sisters to enjoy the ride..hang on my sweet, beautiful sister!! I love you, Melissa

This is one of my favorite quotes from President Hinckley. He was so profoundly down to earth and realistic.

Love that statement, and I loved President Hinckley. I love that he loved life, and worked so hard to try to teach us all to do the same.

So, what is up with Emma? Homeward bound yet?

We are looking at going to Italy in May. I am a little nervous. What if that volcano keeps spouting? Vacations are only vacations when you get to come home :)
