true love

does exist.
and i am thrilled for my darling wonderful friend nicole.
shes getting married in november.
and i get to help with flowers.
i met with her and her mom, kathy (my other special friend)...
and we talked and talked about wedding stuff.
and we walked around her grandmothers estate.
where the shin dig will take place.
amazing backdrop.
for an amazing couple.
so excited for you, nicole.
i promise, it will be beautiful.
(and she even wants a head wreath).
beyond excited to make one of those again.

i will never forget the one i made for charity...
many years ago.
seems like an eternity.
but i will never forget the moment
i placed that on her head in the temple.
she looked like an angel.

so, lets do it again, nicole.
you will look like an angel.
for sure.

love is in the air.
and its a good thing.

I'm so excited to see your beautiful creations for this upcoming wedding..wish you could have made my "head wreath" for my wedding some 37 years ago..but you were only 12 yrs. old..sigh. My guess is you could have run circles around all the florists even at that young age..you are so incredibly talented Shawna! Just wish I could have gotten 1/100th of your artistic abilities..I suppose I was standing in the wrong line when they were handing out talents..I think I might have been standing in the "organizing" line way TOOOO long! haha! Wishing you all the best & success in creating wonderful memories for this very lucky bride-to-be..have a wonderful time! luvualways, Melissa P.S. Looking forward to seeing MANY pics..you could be the photographer too..

Oh Hooray! I'm glad that was a highlight for you! The day really would have been lacking that perfect something without the head wreath. Perfect. Beautiful. Thanks!

Yay! Thank you, Shawna! I'm so excited! I'm so glad you will be there; you've been such a vital part of my family, from greeting us with replacements of pets that died during hospital stays, to hugging me while I sobbed in confusion when life's tragedies hit us... you just HAVE to be there. I love you to death, and I can't wait to see the magic you create. I know whatever you do will be beautiful!
