this lovely little orphan popped up in my flower bed. i think it is a viola. it is like a teeny tiny miniature pansy. i don't have any other plant even remotely similar in my yard. i think it is a gift from my grandma. she had these in her garden in gunnison, utah. i remember as a little girl, admiring her prolific collection of flowers. the tiny violas, in all shades of purple were my favorite. so, she must have sent them...just for me to spark my very warm memories of her. thanks grandma. hope you are doing well.

I just got a package from my mom today and it had a picture of G.grandma & pa Henrie holding my dad in on their ranch in NV! what a coincidence.
